FedEx Web Services Phase II is now available!

FedEx Collective Preferred Two Color Positive Light GrayAfter several months of internal development and working closely with the certification team at FedEx, we are happy to announce that Phase II of FedEx Web Services has been completed! This new integration will allow merchants that enable FedEx’s latest solution to not only provide real-time shipping rates to their customers, but also manage the shipping and label printing process directly within the ProductCart Control Panel. In addition, this new integration supports the highly popular “FedEx SmartPost”. FedEx SmartPost is a great solution for online merchants wanting a cost-effective method to ship packages to residential customers, using the US Postal Service for the ‘final-leg’ of the delivery. FedEx SmartPost can deliver to every U.S. address (including P.O. boxes and military APO, FPO and DPO destinations). You can even use FedEx SmartPost for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and all U.S. territories.

FedEx SmartPost customers still get full FedEx tracking visibility on fedex.com, including their estimated delivery date. Transit times are typically 2 to 7 business days within the contiguous U.S., based on the final destination ZIP code. Longer transit times to destinations outside the contiguous U.S.

FedEx Web Services is compatible with ProductCart v4.1 or higher. To update your store, use the “Check for Updates” link in the ProductCart Control Panel (you need to be enrolled in the Support & Updates Plan to download software updates).
